This game I’ve had for several years now, it’s honestly one of the only games that doesn’t eventually become boring and even though it’s got a basic concept, there’s so many little things that make it great. It has to be said, that if you play for a few months and are still hooked, it’s definitely worth getting the no ads thing since it’s a cheap one time purchase, but even if you don’t, they don’t come on often enough to be too annoying, so I applaud the developers for that. Second, the game IS primarily single player, but when you get to a certain point you can join teams, and compete against other teams in weekly tournaments. You also get a team chat which is pretty nice, and some really high playing teams have like real life email chains or WhatsApp chats and you can make real friends that way.

#Game like wordzap upgradeĪlso there are events throughout the week that let you earn cool portraits for your avatar, or butterflies that don’t really have a use but are pretty and you can name them stupid things once you upgrade them to the max level. Overall, the game is entertaining, has a broad spectrum of things to do, and it isn’t a money trap, all you need is skill and logic, and if you begin with none, I guarantee you Wordscapes will increase your proportions of both. Many are inappropriate for all audiences.
Some adds are obviously for calling a sex line (scrolls at the bottom). Some ads are for games showing death of a character. They are cartoons, but still an issue for youth and possibly those with Mental Heath issues for whom such themes may be a trigger. Others ads are for games about relationship infidelity. Again, personally I don’t want to see them. If you suffer from pornography or gambling addiction, the ads may also be a problem. I also recommend children and youth avoid the game for those reasons. It keeps the brain engaged enough but not so much that you can’t pay peripheral attention to other things when you need to keep half an eye on things. The team and individual tournaments are fun.ĭevelopers- about 1-2 months ago, the ads popping up after completing the daily puzzle come up so quickly the game does not credit you with the stars you earned. Personally, I enjoy the butterfly day because even though I may not get all of the varieties, I at least get some butterfly to add to my garden. The butterflies are much more satisfying.Ĭan we increase the butterfly game from 1 to 2 days? I don’t like the portrait game that lasts 2 days because you get a lot of repeats with nothing to show for it. So far, I’m familiar with the vast majority of the words. I especially like that the words are not rare and unusual. However, there are several things that clutter the screen.
